I have a habit of letting dreams grow beyond all bounds of reality. While that makes sense for stories — especially in the fantasy and horror genres — it doesn’t work so well in real life. I’m the queen of procrastination, and my favorite method is planning stuff.

My works in progress (WIPs) list is miles long. My writing folders are chock full of not only unfinished stories and fresh ideas, but also pen names, side projects, and random wishes and dreams.

Why are there suddenly a bunch of new posts appearing on my site? I’m streamlining what I do and combining the MotleyWriters and MotleyReaders sites with this one. This doesn’t mean I’m working on my stories less. It just means that other stuff will show up here on a regular basis. Literacy information. How-to-write tips that I’ve learned over the years.

You come to a point in your life when you realize you simply don’t have enough time left to do everything you want. I’m going to spend what I have on the things I really care about and let other things slip away.

What stories am I working on right now?

Expect another Zombie Epilogue book out soon. Yes, I know zombies are more than dead, but I like writing these short tales, so I’m going to keep doing it.

My ‘Wasteland Station’ standalone novel is well underway. That’s a working title. I haven’t come up with the final one yet.

I’m also having fun creating some writing prompt journals, reading log books, and project planners.
